In Italy, Juventus has once again claimed the trophy with a number of games to spare. In France, after back to back losses, PSG have finally claimed the trophy.
For the German Bundesliga, there's still a two way fight between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund with just one point separating the two sides. Barcelona are once again running away with the title in Spain.
Now let's go straight to England. Just like Germany, the race is still one. Only two contenders are left, Manchester City and Liverpool. But Unlike the Bundesliga, this race seems even more interesting.
The title race in England has always been much of a big deal, as the league has been argued to be the best and most watched league in the world.
Unlike last season where Man City blew away their opposition to claim the league with a number of games still to play, this time Liverpool are challengers and only time will tell which side will prevail and become the winner.
As at Today, Liverpool currently lead by 2 points courtesy of a 5-0 brushing of already relegated Huddersfield, though Manchester City have a game in hand which automatically puts the pressure on them.
Liverpool have been magnificent this season and were once league leaders at a point, but a series of draws let them squander their lead and end up trailing Man City by a point. They also boast of a brilliant season in the UCL as they're in the semis where they will face Barcelona in what promises to be a mouth watering clash. For the EFL Cup and FA Cup. They've performed below par.
On the other hand, Man City has already claimed the EFL cup and are well placed to win the FA Cup in a Final against Watford. Unlike Liverpool, they're out of the UCL after Tottenham ensured that amidst VAR drama. Still a good season from them though.
Liverpool now have two fixtures left against Newcastle and Wolves while Man City will play Burnley, Leicester and Brighton. The title race is still on and could go on till the last Matchday. What an exciting way to end a wonderful season.
