GUIDE TO CONNECT WITH GOD

How to connect to God can only be achieved by understanding that God's presence in our lives is the most essential thing that we ought to sought after, knowing that nothing can be achieved without God but incase you don't know, the bible says in the book of Psalms 127 vs 1-2;
"Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep."

We can only try to achieve feats but when the presence of God is missing, you tend to struggle without the best result and achievement, you stay up late and wake up very early to hustle without putting God first in your endeavors, without asking God for direction on where to go, without trusting God for a positive outcome, I'm sorry you are wasting your time.

You can actually be a strong person who is a hustler, struggling to make ends meet but even through the hustling and bustling, if the presence of God is missing in your quest for survival, it might really be hard to make it through. We need God's presence in our lives to spice it up, take this scenario for example.

"You went out in the morning and after a strenuous day at work you came back feeling so weak and tired, then all you just want to do is eat and sleep because you are feeling so hungry and you want to be served a sumptuous meal, probably the most delicious. But unfortunately, the food you were served lack good taste because the cook didn't add salt and other major spices to make it delicious, how would you feel at this situation of disappointment?" 

When God is missing in your life, you lose the substance, you will feel discomfort, heartbroken, some sort of bitterness etc.

God created you for a purpose but where the potential is hidden is what you are meant to discover, when was the last time you dialogue with him, have one on one encounter with him, and even tell him about your plans, your movement, your preparation, your next line of action, when was the last time you sought for his guardians, his order, his instructions and commandments, that's just the way to connect with him and stay connected.

If God is active in your life, he will be your best friend and he will rapport with you day in and day out. Revelation 3 vs 20 says; Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

You see, all you just need to do is to invite the presence of God into your life and connect to the plug, what a great privilege he has given to us. Imagine when you have the Most High as your guest and he becoming your friend, what more can you ever ask for?
We all know that whatever happens is from the most high God, but some people just find it so difficult to believe, admit and acknowledge the fact that he is in charge of all things. The God who has made the heavens his abode and throne and the earth his footstool.

You must always understand that, God is the driver and we are the passengers, he knows the destination of every man He doesn't need the world map, road map, Google search or a compass, all you need to do is to be a reasonable passenger in this ride and He will take you through.

"The fact that you go through a dark phase, a muddy road, a bumpy ride doesn't mean He wants you to end in a ditch, because he loves you and cares for you."

But, actually we could always have bus stops, you know where you want to be, you can always shout it out to him so as not to miss your way which is through your dialogue (prayer) with him.

Never harbor the thought of accident (suicide) in your heart while you are in his bus, because he is the chief driver. Whenever you doubt your existence and yourself, then you are doubting His potency and ability, making him seem like he's not capable but in the real sense, He is. Because He is the Alpha and Omega, the one who can do all things in heaven and on earth.

So, let the faith of getting to your destination always wax strong in him because at the end it shall be a plain sailing. So, whatever you do, don't for forget God's factor and always connect. Let him lead and you follow, let him speak and you listen, let him command and you obey. God's presence will always be with you and may you find a reason to connect with Him forever. Amen!
